Lon NaylorLon Naylor is an Associate Consultant with
Business Automation, specializing in operating systems,
applications and networking, particularly those developed by
Microsoft. He is also
experienced in IBM and other mainframe systems and does
professional web site development. Mr. Naylor
has participated in numerous projects with Business Automation
where his technical research capabilities and experience have made
major contributions. Lon is a 23 year veteran of the computer
industry, having begun in the IBM mainframe environment, working
with IBM 3270 plug-compatible equipment at ITT Courier in Tempe,
Arizona. Soon after
the IBM PC was released in the early 1980s, he was given new
responsibility in the ITT Software Development Labs where he
focused on personal computing systems and moving from there to
Local Area Networking. Mr. Naylor was a founding member of the DataPhaz Advanced Systems Group in Phoenix, where he was responsible for designing and implementing almost 200 LAN and WAN networks. During this time, Lon acquired certifications as a 3Com 3Wizard, Novell CNE, IBM LAN Specialist, and Microsoft LanManager Engineer. In 1990, Mr. Naylor joined Microsoft Corporation as a Senior Systems Engineer, where he spent nearly ten years working with advanced networking and Operating Systems, Messaging and Systems management, Internet technologies and other areas. Since leaving Microsoft, he has been doing independent consulting and Internet development assignments. A native of Minnesota, Lon now resides in Phoenix. He is a graduate of De Vry Institute of Technology, where he received an Electrical Engineering Degree. His hobbies include scuba diving, sailing, recording music and flying as a newly licensed private pilot. |
